Music Review: Hal Linton’s ‘Technicolour’
As I’ve exclaimed before, Hal Linton is back with his latest mixtape ‘Technicolour’ and we should welcome him with arms wide open. It’s refreshing to see a talented artist have extensive creative control over his music. The Bajan neo-soul singer/songwriter broke ties with record label Universal Motown so he could work independently.

Since leather is the traditional symbol for third wedding anniversaries in western culture, it seemed fitting to collaborate with young designer Alexis Campbell, who is known for incorporating leather accents into her apparel. See more pictures below.
Trend Alert: School Girl Chic
School girl fashion never really disappeared. But with designers such as Edun, Lauren Moffatt, Veda, LAMB, and DSquared2 adding their own touch to this look, it’s back in full force with broader appeal.

We're in the middle of the summer; so you know what that means? A summer swimsuit photo shoot! Senior photographer Michael Alexander took some of his models out to a beach in Barbados for a splash.

Rihanna As Kung Fu Princess In Coldplay Video
'Princess of China', Coldplay's collaboration with Rihanna, was finally released as a video this month. The music video was filmed in the style of a kung fu movie trailer to reflect the name of the song (interestingly, China is never mentioned in the lyrics).

Hal Linton Is Back!
Bajan neo-soul artiste Hal Linton has been laying low for awhile so I was happy when he released the music video for his latest tune 'Circles' a few days ago. 'Circles' is the first single to come off of his upcoming mixtape 'Technicolour'.

The black and white 'Circles' video, which Hal co-directed, highlights how crazy in love he is about a girl - he ditches a recording session just so he could be with her. The music video ends with a teaser of his next single 'I Want U 2 Know'. Check out the 'Circles' video below:

The event was Capital FM’s Summertime Ball, an annual mini-festival that featured major music stars including Katy Perry, Coldplay, Usher, Justin Bieber and Jessie J, among others.

Drake & Rihanna Release 'Take Care'
After months of growing popularity on the internet, the music video for Drake and Rihanna's hit 'Take Care' was finally released a few days ago.

The video is mostly black and white, and very minimalist, with landscape shots of snowy mountains, and upclose angles of a blue jay and a bull. Rihanna and Drake hold each other in intimate poses that basically reflect the idea of the lyric "I'll take care of you."
