Nevis Fashion Weekend Goes Global
Yesterday Winnielle Model Management's team of over 20 fashion industry artists made their way over to Nevis to the breathtaking Hamilton Beach Villas & Spa where they will be residing during the hosting of their 2013 Untamed Absolute Style - Nevis Fashion Weekend.
An amazing buzz is surrounding Winnielle Model Management's (WMM) upcoming event, which marks their official return to hosting premier fashion events within the Federation.
Chief Executive Officer Winnielle Pereira has described the event as one that is multi-purposed; highly geared towards empowering, inspiring and encouraging youth who are passionate and aspire to work and be developed in the art of fashion and modeling, provide an elite networking event for seasoned and aspiring industry artists to connect and work together for greatness as well as to promote Nevis, its businesses and people, through the massive local, regional, and international exposure it has been and will continue to receive through its massive marketing areas.
Nevis Tourism Authority recently endorsed Nevis Fashion Weekend and CEO Greg Phillip stated that the WMM Nevis Fashion Weekend is an event that would help the NTA to achieve one of its major goals – that is to bring global attention to Nevis and also a different niche of visitors to the destination.
Digicel has once again come on board to support this second installation of Nevis Fashion Weekend, which Winnielle describes as an intimate, upscale fashion event.
Hosted at The Mount Nevis Hotel, Nevis Fashion Weekend is set to highlight and showcase local and regional fashion designers from the islands.
Nevis Fashion Weekend will feature two events; the first on November 30th, which is an invitation only preview fashion show & cocktail event. The main event will be hosted tomorrow, December 1st at the Mount Nevis from 4 - 6:30pm.
In addition to its 2013 regional designers, Nevis Fashion Weekend is set to welcome guest models from Dominica, Leslassa Amour the 2013 Caribbean Culture Queen and from St. Kitts Trevicia Barbie Adams, who is the 2012 Caribbean Culture Queen.
