And The Winner Is…
Kurama Magazine’s Personal Style Challenge had an overwhelming response from young aspiring models all over the Caribbean as well as fans and followers. St. Lucia was the most well represented island with eleven contenders raking in a total of 1780 votes. The rest of the contestants came from Jamaica, Barbados, Bermuda, Trinidad, Guyana, Antigua, The Bahamas and Haiti.
Plus-sized belle Dezze Alcee of St. Lucia was the forerunner early in the contest but in the end she was overthrown from the top spot by the winner Alexandria Fennell.
Alexandria Fennell, the winner of the Personal Style Challenge
Alexandria is no stranger to the camera as she has done promotional work for her friend’s company Klothes Kloset Kollections. This 19-year-old Jamaican beauty would describe her personal style as girly and cute but still edgy.
“I like to wear things that make me stand out in the crowd. I do not like to be seen in something that someone has been seen in. I always make statements.”
Runners up Dezze Alcee and Kalisse Kelly
Lexie, as she is known by loved ones, just completed 6th form and is about to graduate from the Hampton School for Girls in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Her ambition is to become a lawyer and she will be pursuing this dream in September when she starts attending law school. She also loves to travel and would like to incorporate this into her future career. “I would love to be a legal advisor to a big firm/company that allows me to travel frequently.”
Alexandria will be receiving a gift basket of personal care products by the contest’s sponsor Mixology Skincare.
